Feedback

"My son has only been at your school a short time however he shared that it is 'the best decision I have ever made - I wish I had started in Reception. The teachers like their students and you can tell that they love to teach.' This reflects my son's change in attitude since starting. He comes home happy and can't tell me enough about his day."

Subject: Gala Dinner

I just had to email with regards to the Gala Dinner, it was absolutely amazing, every single one of the children I could see put their heart and soul into creating such a special evening something I won’t forget, it actually brought tears to my eyes a few times. From the table decorations, menus, name cards, the arrival drinks everything was beautiful including the delicious food. I was so proud of CHILD and all of her fellow students. Thankyou to the staff who also helped bring the day together. I am so immensely proud that CHILD and CHILD attend your school, I can’t thank you enough for everything you are doing they are so happy.

Once again amazing night, we love Barkston & Syston Primary and all the hardworking staff that make it the magical school it is.

RE: Showcase

Can you pass on my thanks to the staff for a superb showcase event yesterday! It was so lovely to be back in the school again! I really enjoyed seeing what CHILD has been learning and I learnt a few things myself! ( CHILD did take me through every book page by page - no skim reading allowed!)

Subject: Shakespeare week

Excellent. Such a joy to see the whole school performing together and clearly enjoying themselves. Thank you to all involved.

I enjoyed it, I liked the scene setup with different year groups on different scenes. Made it more of a school play but still let the various groups have their moment

I really enjoyed! And I’m glad my girls enjoyed and it was first time they ever had something like this! I hope there be more shows like this for kids!

Our daughter has been so enthused to learn this week, coming home full of talk about rehearsals that have taken place during the day. We usually struggle to get any sort of comment on how her day has been and she has wanted to share every minute of this with us. She really seemed to come alive and was the driving factor in learning her lines, even arranging to meet with a friend after school to practise. What and amazing opportunity and introduction to Shakespeare! Wonderful to be back in the school supporting all the children, I felt really quite emotional and certainly very privileged. Thank you!

RE: Sports Day

Fab - really good fun, well organised and best of all, the children clearly enjoyed themselves.

Excellent afternoon. Very enjoyable and good to see lots of encouragement between the children.

I loved how inclusive it was for all the children, rather than those with natural athletic ability being chosen for all the races. The staff you have were obviously very committed, compassionate and attentive to the children's individual needs.
