School Admissions

Please let the school know of your interest - come and see for yourself. The visit will (wherever possible) be conducted by the Headteacher and on a 1:1 basis.

You are most welcome to enter your child's name on our register of applications. Please note the relevant dates for the allocation of places. The decision regarding an allocation of a place for the Reception cohort for your child will be notified to you in writing by Lincolnshire County Council.

Children may start in Reception Class the term after they are four years old.  We admit children into the Pre-Reception part of the class in January and April.  Parents may apply for a January or April place for their child by completing the Pre-Reception form.

Applications for a place to start in January must be at the school by 30th October.

Applications for a place to start in April must be at the school by 30th January.

Governors meet at the end of October and the end of January to decide which children will be offered a place.  In the case of oversubscription, the Governing Body use the Admission Policy to allocate places.

Parents must apply to Lincolnshire County Council for a place for their child to start school in the Reception cohort in September.  This is in addition to applying for a place in the Pre-Reception cohort.

If your child has an Education Health Care Plan please contact the school to discuss your child’s needs as the admission arrangements may be different.  You should also contact your named key worker on the EHC plan.
